Dear Indoor Percussion/Color Guard Parents/Guardians:

New this year, we must begin assessing a Member in Good Standing (MIGS) fee for all Indoor Percussion and Indoor Color Guard members.  The fee, $75 per student, $115 for families with two or more students, helps provide materials for props/scenery, instruments and instrumental repairs/rentals/purchases, color guard supplies, music, competition fees, and other miscellaneous indoor expenses.

We ask that half the fee be paid before February 20, 2009, and the remainder be paid no later than March 9, 2009.  If you choose to do so, you may pay the entire amount all at once.  Please make your checks payable to the Elizabeth Forward Band Boosters and designate on the check the student’s name and “Indoor Percussion MIGS Fee” or “Indoor Color Guard MIGS Fee.”  Please give your checks to Marylou Johnston, Indoor Liaison.  If the student has money in their marching band points account, the points can be used to pay part or the entire fee.  Monies earned through fundraising can also be used to pay the fee.  It is important that everyone pays the fee; if not, it diminishes the monies available to provide the students with the above mentioned essentials.
