Other important info:
- Chinese Auction for Home Show: at Thursday nights rehearsal, student received a letter stating that each student must bring in $3 for the Chinese Auction that we will have at our Home Show on September 17. Students can give the $3 to Olivia Zugai or Marissa Torbert.
2. Cookie breakdown: during each football game and at our Home Show, students are asked to bring in cookies to be sold at our concession stand. Students are to bring in 2 dozen cookies. Here is the breakdown so we are sure each game we have cookies.
- September 2nd-10th grade students
- September 16th-ALL Students
- September 23th-5th, 6th, 7th, & 9th grade students
- October 7th-12th grade students
- October 21st-8th & 11th grade students
3. FREE YOUR CALENDAR FOR SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8TH: this will be our Spaghetti Dinner to raise money for our Hershey Trip. More info and ticket info will be coming out shortly, but EVERYONE needs to plan on attending this event. The more tickets we sell for this event, the better off we will be to raise enough money to go to Hershey without it costing families money.
4. Concession stand helpers: if you are interested in working in the concession stand during football games, please let Rob Johnson know. His email is rcjcad@aol.com. We need lots of volunteers for each home game.
5. Final MIG Payment: Don’t forget that everyone must have their final MIGS and supply bill due by Friday, September 16th
6. DISNEY TRIP PAYMENT: The first Disney payment will be due on Saturday, September 24th! This is a $100 non-refundable security deposit for the trip. Disney has strong deadlines that we MUST adhere to.
7. A special thanks to the following people for their hard work and support over the last few weeks either cleaning, building, or helping out the band.
- Robbie Johnson, Rachael Dufalla, Jen Stetar, Josh Shoemaker, Jordan Matscherz and Alex Poremba for coming in on Saturday afternoon and helping clean and put the band room back together after it being freshly waxed.
- Mr. & Mrs. Zugai and the other parents who helped clean and organize the band showcase in the HS Lobby. Make sure you stop by and see the great job.
- Peggy Platte for her work in fitting all the band members in their uniforms and for working the District Golf outing!
- Casturo family for locating and donating equipment that is needed to help our pit section.
- Mr. Shamitko & Mr. Halt and the other parents involved in fixing things, building things, and cleaning the trailer this week and over the summer.
- Mr. Johnson and the other parents for organizing and working the Riverfest Event
